Who Am I?

Hi, I am Kevin Spain

BSc (Hons) Psych (Open), Dip. Executive and Life Coaching, F.Dip. Education and Training (NUIG).

I am a Dublin-based Executive, Career and Life Coach. My life revolves around my family, my love of sport and my passion for working with young people. I have run marathons, completed triathlons and endured an Ironman. I climbed Kilimanjaro twice. I failed to reach the top the first time!

I have travelled extensively and volunteered in Zambia, Nepal, Somalia, Namibia, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Since 2016 I have coordinated a group of young people traveling to Zambia as volunteers. In 2024 we will make a return to Nsobe with a new group of volunteers.  Along my travels I have seen natural disasters and human devastation but what will always stand out is seeing the goodness in people and the enormous potential of young people.

Back home I am very involved with Cuala GAA club where I played hurling myself and have coached various teams. I am a facilitator for a Youth Leadership Initiative, a program brought together by the GAA, Foróige and NUI Galway that gives 15 - 17 year olds the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.
