The Context
This is an interactive workshop that takes a compassionate approach to young people’s challenging relationships with their phone and social media. It is not a lecture but a self-reflection opportunity to afford students an understanding of why they are so reliant and at what personal cost. It is only from this self-discovery that a teenage can even begin to invoke change.
Students are guided through a personal Digital Audit by using their own phone diagnostics. With this information they can articulate why they use, how they use, what they use and how they are being monetised. Students engage in peer to peer conversations to explore the great benefits and the deeper consequences of their online lives.
Programme Overview
This 90 minute workshop is facilitated by Coach Kevin for a fee of €225. A series of workshops can be facilitated throughout a school day at a maximum cost of €550.
